2017 Model Rumors...
In yet another turn of we'll never know what Piaggio Guzzi is doing next... Word from a secure source says that they will be offering a smaller "entry level" motorcycle ~500cc in 2017, and the "new" V7 was confirmed at 850cc. No mention of 2 or 4V or whether or not it would be air or water-cooled.
The new big bike replacement H20 motor is still in development as well.

Moto Guzzi Announces New Models for 2016 and 2017
Moto Guzzi is rolling out several new models for 2016 and 2017. Joining the Stone, Special and Racer models in the V7 II line is the new 2016 V7 II Stornello, a scrambler inspired by the 1967 Stornello Scrambler America. Only 1,000 units of this limited-edition model will be produced, each individually numbered. Powered by an air-cooled, 744cc longitudinal V-twin with a 6-speed transmission, it has standard ABS and traction control. Knockabout features include an Arrow high-mount 2-into-1 exhaust, a long upholstered saddle, spoked wheels with semi-knobby tires, rubber knee pads on the tank, fork gaiters, cleated footpegs with removable aluminum inserts and brushed aluminum number plates that match the front fender.
